Weaving—

I am offering individual basic weaving instruction using a rigid heddle. We will discuss parts of the loom, weaving tools, creating a warp and dressing the loom. We will talk about different types of yarns, fiber and other materials you may use to weave into your projects.

Class will depend on how long it takes to work together to set up the loom and weave your project. Allow for 2-3 hours.

$150 includes all supplies

Plant Dyeing—

I am offering individual or small group basic plant dyeing instruction. We will discuss fabrics, mordants, how to responsibly resource plants for dye, ethical foraging & sustainable plant dye producers, and what you can save for dyeing before sending it to the compost pile!

Class will be approximately 2 hrs. long
